I feel very lucky to live in the neighborhood I do and have friends like the Griffin family. Colonel Griffin has been apart from his family for 9 months fighting for our country. It is sacrifices like these that I will never know but could not help feel as I hid behind my lens in anticipation. I can only imagine what their family has endured. It was my honor to capture this special day for them and was one of my favorite moments as a photographer. Thank you Griffin family!!!
