It only seems natural to head to the beach during a San Diego heat wave. This little man was all smiles during his 7 month photo shoot. Mom and dad were up for an adventure and that is always my favorite way to shoot. I wasn't sure how well my boat would turn out but I think it is kind of cute. Stay cool. I feel very lucky to live in the neighborhood I do and have friends like the Griffin family. Colonel Griffin has been apart from his family for 9 months fighting for our country. It is sacrifices like these that I will never know but could not help feel as I hid behind my lens in anticipation. I can only imagine what their family has endured.
