Finally we can take the pictures down from the Ortega’s wall that I printed in my FIRST darkroom . Yes, darkroom. When I first started taking photos, I shot film and developed it myself. I would process it in the garage in the darkroom that my loving husband made for me. It seems like forever ago. In fact, the original Ortega family photo only has 2 of these 4 little darlings in it. They were some of my first clients. I was so excited when we put a photo date on the calendar. It is time to update! Mrs. Ortega and I were teachers together in Oceanside. She is very creative and a lot of fun. I love my new adventure as a San Diego Children’s Photograher, however, do miss all of my teacher friends. © Renee Hindman

Oh, Renee…you’ve touched my heart with these awesome photos of my favorite kids!! Jake is getting so handsome, and all the others are as cute as can be! I love your composition and your props.I really love the way you capture the sweetness of childhood so beautifully. Speaking of props, you “B’, I am gonna give/sell the ones I got for you to Kristy, because you are not interested, and she will become world famous because of my props, and then you will be sorry. Hah! I miss you, Girl!! I hope things are working out for you in your new life. I am so proud of you for following your heart. Maggie, my daughter, is becoming quite the photographer. She liked creative photog, but she really has a passion for ROP, where they take fashion shots, merchandise ads,”Grad” poses, etc.,and then do layouts.I got her a Cannon Rebel XSi to help her out. You can go to her facebook page and see the poster she made that they’re using at her school for an upcoming event. It’s hot! Love You, Renee!!
